We’ve taken the community’s feedback into account, reviewed all the game mechanics, examined all the expansions released over the years, added new content, and developed it all with a single goal in mind: the rebirth of Lorenzo il Magnifico!
Lorenzo il Magnifico: Prima Lux is a strategy game featuring an innovative worker-placement system and deep tableau-building and game-engine-development mechanics. This version offers the same gameplay experience that has captivated thousands of players, with updated graphics and restored components.
Lorenzo il Magnifico: Maiestas incorporates all the mechanics of the original game, draws on the experience gained from 10 years of feedback, selects the most popular expansions, and develops them into a new game with a modern feel. Numerous small changes—such as new costs for visiting an occupied tower or the revamped production and work areas—reduce the feeling of limitation present in the original game. The increased number of development cards transforms a predictable flow into an ever-changing tactical exploration. The additional Leaders and the different abilities of the Houses add the finishing touch to this variety.
